EAS™ — Systematic Quality

The European Attestation Standard (EAS™) is an independent professional organization whose rules and procedures are fully based on the principles of international ISO standards for quality management and educational services. EAS™ is an effective alternative to the traditional certification approach. While large international certification bodies follow a pre-programmed, clearly defined path, EAS™ chooses its own path and adapts to the realities of the new generation of online services – through clear criteria, traceable audit processes, and transparent attestation certificates.

Vision and Foundation:

The European Attestation Standard (EAS™) is the result of over 20 years of international expertise in QMS according to ISO 9001 and systemic consulting for European educational institutions.

The foundation was laid by a solid banking education and years of experience as Deputy Dean for Science and Student Affairs. In this role, Dr. phil. Mariia Bohach was responsible, among other duties, for preparing the faculty for state accreditation and consolidating complex reporting systems. For her significant contribution to state development and high professionalism, she was honored with a personal Letter of Gratitude from the President of Ukraine as well as regional government awards.

Founder Dr. phil. Mariia Bohach has been gaining practical auditing experience since 2006 in countries such as Poland, Sweden, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. This sound process and quality assessment forms the foundation of the EAS™ structure.

• As a research associate in the Ukrainian regional administration, Dr. Bohach led pilot projects with successful implementation in authorities: electronic document flow in the control system, "Friendly Administration," and the introduction of QMS.

• International seminars with experts such as Prof. Titto Conti (Italy 2005), Dr. Helena Krejčíková (Czech Republic 2007, TÜV SÜD), exchange with Lubuskie Voivodeship (Poland) and NKT AB (Sweden 2010).

• 2011: Relocation to Germany — the move to Germany initiated a new phase. Integration initially required practical audits through language and social adaptation. Nevertheless, methodological development continued steadily — focusing on customer-friendly, efficient paths to success. COVID-19 and the global shift to online services were the decisive impetus for an innovative approach to analysis and certification.

• ISO audits on-site and online, innovative consulting formats, continuous further training — this transition phase laid the foundation for future-oriented certification approaches.

• The combination of Ukrainian administrative experience and German auditing practice laid the basis for a European-wide applicable quality framework.

Rebranding & Expansion to EAS™

2024–2026

• The COVID-19 pandemic and the boom in digital offerings in 2019 created the necessity for an ethical standard for non-formal continuing education and personal security.

• EAS™ emerged through the rebranding and merger of Dr. Bohach's long-standing proven QMS expertise with the physiotherapy practice of Dr. Uwe Pirsch, dipl. physiotherapist and alternative practitioner, lead auditor for healthcare sectors (physiotherapy, acupuncture, nursing, Ayurveda, hypnosis, homeopathy, kinesiology, and other sensitive "person-to-person" areas).

• The organization was renamed "European Attestation Standard" — with a protected brand name, logo, and founding documents.

• New qualifications in AI/Cybersecurity and QMS, expansion of the auditor team — EAS™ establishes itself as a modern partner for digital education providers and sensitive "person-to-person" professions (Energetics, Health, Coaching).

• With an expanded range of topics and a new board, we are preparing EAS™ for the demands of the digital age — sustainable, practical, and future-oriented.

CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITY

In light of the uncontrolled rise in digital services (such as online courses and coaching offers), which are often created by non-certified actors without a clear profile of competence, the market is flooded with "information junk." This forces consumers to rely solely on aggressive marketing promises. This situation is a problem both for consumers and for upright, qualified experts who get lost in this information noise..

EAS™ was founded to provide qualified experts with an effective tool to distance themselves from these unreliable providers in a documented and verifiable way. EAS™ enables providers of high-quality services to clearly prove their competence and service quality, thereby actively strengthening consumer protection across the entire sector. In 2019, the EAS™ platform was created to make this proven methodology accessible to the public.
